Christmas with Montalbano
Great,
just found a new book about commisario Montalbano in my suitcase that I have not unpacked yet since september last year when I was in Italy. La voce del violino written by Camillieri, funny to read his italian mixed with sicilian dialects, makes the story more authentic. When a book is translated I think it looses some of its flavor, so when I can I read books in original language. I read all the Harry Potter books last year, got hooked on Potter when I bought Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix last august in Sciphol airport in holland. And yesterday I went to see the fourth movie about the Potter boy, but I found it to be less enjoying than the others...

I haven't read any Harry Potter books. I haven't even seen the last two movies. *gasp*! I know. I keep saying that I'll rent them, but I haven't.
Hello Sarah, I resisted this Potter thing until last year. But then I found them funny and entertaining, they are made for children, not as serious as Lord of the rings, nothing wrong with that in any case. Now I wait for the Last book, the next book is supposed to be the last according to the writer herself.
But mostly I read detective stories or biographies about writers, photographes or artists, since that is what interest me, not to much into history.
